The following is a statement from the Press Secretary of the United States:
The President and Mrs. Bush will travel to Europe from June 9 to June 16, 2008, to strengthen the trans-Atlantic partnership and to celebrate the enduring friendship between our nations based on shared democratic values. The President and Mrs. Bush's visit will also commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Marshall Plan and the Berlin Airlift, underscoring the historic and continuing U.S. role in supporting a Europe increasingly whole, free, and at peace. The President will begin his trip by participating in the annual U.S.-European Union (EU) Summit in Slovenia. Following the Summit, the President and Mrs. Bush will visit Germany, Italy, the Holy See, France, and the United Kingdom.
What it does not say is that my sister is going with! She'll be accompanying the advance team to Germany. The last time she did this, in Africa, she got to fly home on Air Force One, and even call her brother from the air. I answered the phone and Secret Service asked if I would hold for Lauren Seely. Cool.
By the way, I like President Bush as a dude. So, I am not condoning his portrayal as a shoe-less missing link, as he is portrayed here in The Gaurdian (UK), but I love listening to him talk and I do condone the U.S. president having a light sabre.

The best part is that POTUS has such a great sense of humor that he would find this 'toon worthy of a patent-pending Bush chuckle.
I live to serve.
